Malia Designs works with three Fair Trade producer groups, each with their own social mission:

1. Rescues women out of human trafficking and teaches them a trade, providing sustainable income and helping to prevent re-exploitation.

2. Works with landmine victims and the disabled—people who are at a very high risk of exploitation.

3. Co-op located outside of the capitol city of Phnom Penh, which provides a much-needed source of income for subsistence farmers who often migrate to cities where they are more likely to fall victim to traffickers.

Each of these organizations pays a fair wage and provides services such as childcare, educational opportunities, and insurance to their employees.
